For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. ~ Jeremiah 29:11-13

More Like Falling in Love
I heard this song on the way home tonight. More Like Falling in Love by Jason Gray. My prayer is that we will all strive not to just believe in Jesus, but to fall in love with Him.
Give me rules
I will break them
Give me lines
I will cross them
I need more than a truth to believe
I need a truth that lives, moves, and breathes
To sweep me off my feet
It ought to be
More like falling in love
Than something to believe in
More like losing my heart
Than giving my allegiance
Caught up, called out
Come take a look at me now
It's like I'm falling, oh
It's like I'm falling in love
Give me words
I'll misuse them
Obligations
I'll misplace them
'Cause all religion ever made of me
Was just a sinner with a stone tied to my feet
It never set me free
It's gotta be
More like falling in love
Than something to believe in
More like losing my heart
Than giving my allegiance
Caught up, called out
Come take a look at me now
It's like I'm falling, oh
It's like I'm falling in love
It's like I'm falling in love, love, love
Deeper and deeper
It was love that made
Me a believer
In more than a name, a faith, a creed
Falling in love with Jesus brought the change in me
It's gotta be
More like falling in love
Than something to believe in
More like losing my heart
Than giving my allegiance
Caught up, called out
Come take a look at me now
It's like I'm falling, oh
It's like I'm falling in love

Is Suffering Optional? by Francis Chan
This video is humbling, yet convicting. It will be worth the 45 minutes you spend watching it. Francis Chan has a way of presenting the Truth in a way you've never hear before, and will not soon forget.
**updated 04/24/11--looks like the original video was deleted. I found it again, but it's broken up in 5 parts**

Human Trafficking
A friend shared this blog with me. It is written by a girl who is traveling to Moldova with a ministry. Please take time to read some of the posts.
■ Moldova is located between Romania & Ukraine.
■ The average income in Moldova is around $100 annually.
■ Moldova is the main source in Europe (60%) for women and girls trafficked in Western Europe, the Balkans and the Middle East. At least 20% of Moldovan females will be trafficked at some point in their lifetimes.
■ Moldova has the 18th highest suicide rate in the world.
The blog has been an interesting read. I first heard about human trafficking through Christine Caine's ministry, The A21 Campaign and then through All Things New out of Oklahoma City. It's a heartbreaking issue of today. It's not just something from days gone by or only in 3rd world countries. It's in your backyard, and the average age is 11!!
Awareness is the first step to prevention.
Because where there’s light, darkness can’t live.
